Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia has 3,631 new Covid-19 infections on Friday (Jan 22), taking the total number of confirmed cases in the country up to 176,180.
In the same 24-hour span, 18 people had died of Covid-19 in the country.
Malaysia’s Covid-19 death toll is now 660.
The country also discharged 2,554 patients, bringing the number of Covid-19 recoveries in the country up to 132,706.
There are currently 42,814 active Covid-19 cases that are being treated at the country’s hospitals and quarantine centres.
Of that total, 251 patients are in intensive care, with 102 on ventilator support. – The Star
