KUALA LUMPUR — Lee Zii Jia crashed out in the first round of the China Open today.
He lost to Japan’s world No. 15 Koki Watanabe 21-15, 21-2 in 29 minutes at the Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium in Changzhou.
This is the Olympic bronze medallist’s first tournament after suffering a first-round exit at the Japan Open last month and skipping the Korea and Hong Kong Opens.
