Petaling Jaya – Malaysia recorded 1,349 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (April 4), bringing cumulative total to 350,959.
There are two new Covid-19 fatalities, taking the country’s death toll to 1,288 or 0.37% of all cases, according to the Health Ministry.
The number of recoveries is lower than new cases, with 1,270 patients being discharged in the past 24 hours.
In total, 335,162 patients or 95.5% have recovered from Covid-19 in the country.
Active cases are now at 14,509.
Currently, 186 people are being treated at intensive care units, with 94 of them requiring ventilator support. – The Star
