Petaling Jaya – Malaysia reported 3,142 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday (April 28), bringing the total number of cases in the country since the pandemic began to 401,593, says the Health Ministry.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor reported the most cases with 1,019 new infections.
This was followed by Kelantan with 523 new Covid-19 cases, Kuala Lumpur (440) and Sarawak (416).
The Health Ministry also said in a tweet that 15 new fatalities were reported, bringing the death toll to 1,477. – The Star
